Decade of Dignity and Development

The Decade of Dignity and Development, WYA 1999-2009 was the celebration of WYA's ten years of work promoting the dignity of the person in development. As a year of conferences and global events, the DDD celebrations are intended to unite young people, leaders in the public sector, the best practices around the world and give them a global center stage.

International Conference
Each region will hosted a conference and membership event highlighting how dignity drives development within that region. These culminated at the end of the year with an international conference in New York with representatives from each region along with speakers presenting the global overview.
