Why you chose this internship: I have always been a firm believer in respecting human beings from different walks of life and with this comes the need to understand human dignity, which is inherent to our existence. The World Youth Alliance goes above and beyond to express the need to embrace human dignity and protect the same. I believe that we as the youth can bring change in this world; in times of destruction,we, in solidarity can achieve peace and in times of peace, we can live in harmony and in both times, we can live in the truth of ourselves.

Why you chose this internship: I chose this internship, because I am passionate about the needs of human rights around the world. Even more importantly, I like how WYA recognizes the need for people who believe in the dignity of the person to speak on the behalf of those who are unable to speak for themselves. Besides, who doesn't want to live in New York!

Why I chose this internship: After completing courses in Development Studies, I felt I could better understand human development in more holistic terms. The World Youth Alliance internship seemed to achieve this goal better than others that I had considered. WYA's distinct focus on dignity as being integral to human development specifically made coming to WYA as an intern an easy choice.

The mission of World Youth Alliance is the same vision as my family, now and when I was growing up, so it is great to reinforce that, share knowledge and be part of a greater, common good!
Fun fact: I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world, and I love history, art, movies and music! I'm a family person, but I do believe I have brothers and sisters all over the world, finally understanding each other and sharing the same vision!
