WYAAP Regional Internship Opportunity

 

We are looking for smart, passionate, dynamic, and hard-working young people who would like to share their time and talents with the Asia Pacific office!  The internship batches run for 12 weeks. This internship opportunity is open to all WYA members.  If you are from a country in Asia Pacific, you can send your completed WYA Internship Application Form to desiree@wya.net.  If you are from another region, please contact the Director of Operations your region for information on how to apply.

Donate Your Old Items to Promote Human Dignity

 

We will be holding a series of garage sales at the WYAAP Office to fund our Sulong Workshops and other events.  If you have old clothes, bags, shoes and other items that you no longer need but are still in good condition, you can donate them to us at 11 J.P. Laurel Street, Xavierville 1 Subdivision, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.  You can send us an email at asiapacific@wya.net or call us at 4330715 for directions and other questions.  Help us reach out to more youth and promote human dignity!

 

Track A Training Program and Discussions

 

Our new and improved training materials are finally ready for use.  If you would like to learn about human dignity, how it is translated into daily life and how it is connected to global issues, then join our Track A Training Program.  Training is ongoing and online.  If you are from an Asia Pacific country, you may send your questions and completed Track A Training Program application form to desiree@wya.net .  If you are from a non-Asia Pacific country, please contact the Director of Operations of your region to get information on how to apply.

Cinema Ubuchindami: The Incredibles

Join us on August 20, 2010 as we watch the animated film The Incredibles as part of our ongoing Cinema Ubuchindami Film Nights.  Venue will be the WYAAP Office and the event starts at 7:00 PM.  Admission is free and  is open to everyone.  You may confirm your attendance or ask your questions, you can send them to asiapacific@wya.net or by calling our office at 433-0715.  See you there!
             

The Incredibles is one of the movies on our Cinema Ubuchindami list. Cinema Ubuchindami selects films that portray the broad elements of truth about the human person. Each film reflects a shared experience of humanity and helps an audience empathize with what it means to be human.
