The World Youth Alliance continues to train new young leaders and members around the world. These members are the instruments of defending human dignity and making positive changes in their societies. Adhering to WYA’s values, Huda and Guldana have turned their passion for human dignity and knowledge gained from the Certified Training Program into action. They decided to revive the World Youth Alliance Chapter in Hungary. In December 2020, they were awarded accreditation by WYA Southeast Europe and became WYA certified members. Then, after participating in certain training programs, namely, Training of Trainers (TOT) and Human Dignity Curriculum (HDC), they undertake the mission of reopening the WYA national Hungarian chapter in January 2021.

Huda Salman is a pharmacist and a health social worker from Syria. She is a social activist and a peacebuilder. Huda took over the role of WYA Hungary Chapter Coordinator. Her WYA partner Guldana Abdikalykova is from Kazakhstan and she is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in English and American studies at Eötvös Loránd University, in Hungary. She holds the Notary role in the WYA Hungary growing team.

Since their primary goal by the Chapter’s strategic plan is to expand and train new members, WYA Hungary announced a launch of CTP training which starts on the 17th of March, 2021. For them, it’s a great challenge to convey the message of human dignity and to inspire the youth generation in Hungary far from their home countries. Nevertheless, they persistently took this challenge, driven by their belief in human unity, solidarity, freedom, and led by their motivation to promote world peace.

In the end, if you are a human dignity enthusiast and you want to be a part of a positive change in your society, follow WYA Hungary on Facebook and/or Instagram and support our upcoming activities and future announcements.
