Among her contributions are volunteering to teach the Human Dignity Curriculum in Lebanon, facilitating several CTPs, organizing events and public talks, leading multiple information sessions, and actively participating in the translation of the CTP Manual into French. Her work has expanded access to WYA formation programs and strengthened youth engagement in her region.

Gael hopes that the training that WYA provides, in human dignity education, will instill in young people a sense of clarity, resilience, and purpose.

WYA North America Awardee: Peter Gedicks – United States
NA - Peter Gedicks

Peter is currently an Advocacy Fellow for the World Youth Alliance. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from the Wyoming Catholic College.

Peter encountered WYA while attending a seminar in Europe, where he met a member who introduced him to the organization’s mission. That initial conversation opened the door to deeper involvement. Since then, Peter has completed the CTP, the Advocacy Academy Training of Trainers, attended the International Solidarity Forum, and grown in his commitment to defending human dignity in the public square. As an Advocacy Fellow with World Youth Alliance, Peter looks forward to representing WYA at the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women at the UN.

The 2026 Viktor Frankl Awardees embody the mission and vision of the World Youth Alliance: to build free and just societies through a culture that affirms the inalienable dignity of the person, defends the intrinsic right to life, nurtures the family, and fosters a social climate favorable to integral development, solidarity, and mutual respect.

WYA celebrates these young people as they continue to inspire and live these ideas in their communities.
