Meet Natalia, Maria Teresa, Dora and Medina!
Natalia Strzyżewska graduated from Eastern European Studies at Warsaw University and a postgraduate program in International Law. Her Master’s thesis is about activists who were promoting Human Rights in the Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic after the USSR signed the Helsinki Accords. The topic of human dignity and Human Rights is particularly close to her heart, both in terms of scientific interests and personal values. Working in the third sector she is really in her element!
Dora Kujek is 25 years old. She was born in Osijek, Slavonia.
She studied Cultural Management at the Department of Cultural Studies. As a student, she coordinated one of the chapters of the organization Forum Plus Croatia where she became very interested in Christian leadership and social problems of her country. Throughout college, she spent many years with the Franciscan youth and later among Jesuits. It gave her knowledge and examples of humbleness while maintaining strong moral values which later led her to the World Youth Alliance Croatia. She now holds a Master’s degree in Culture. In such an interdisciplinary college, she acquired theoretical knowledge in different analytical discourses while integrating artistic content with a social-humanistic scientific component.
In her free time, she likes to read apologetic and philosophical literature. She seeks art mostly in music and solutions to social problems through entrepreneurial ways. Among other her interests are long runs and writing books.
WYA Europe wishes all the best in their experience as interns and encourages all those interested in enhancing their professional profiles through the WYA Europe and Southeast Europe internship program.
