My name is Daniella Gathiri. Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. I recently completed high school in Loreto High School Limuru and I am awaiting university admission later in the year. I have an interest in WYA because I realize that a lot of people my age are not aware of their intrinsic dignity as human beings. And I am passionate about taking part in creating a community where teenagers understand the value of self-worth and feel the need to exercise their freedom for excellence.
My name is Chris. I am a placid, brief and a persistent person from Liberia, a small country in Western Africa. I love to make others around me laugh despite being a quiet person. My previous academic training and experience are in administration, but my primary interest is in International Politics.
I graduated from the African Bible College University-Liberia with bachelor’s, double major in Biblical Studies and Entrepreneurship in 2014, and I just completed a Master in Educational Leadership and Administration from the Africa International University, Nairobi. Currently, I am working on a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration, with a specialty in Public Policy Analysis at Walden University, Minnesota. My dream is to see all humans, everywhere, starting with Liberia and Africa treated equally regardless of their situations. This drives me to join World Youth Alliance Internship to deeper my experience in advocacy and also contribute to its work of defending the intrinsic dignity of every person around the world.
My name is David Dindibale Kisache, born in the Rift Valley Province in Kenya. I attended Namawanga Primary School before proceeding to Lodwar Boys High School in Turkana County. I am a graduate from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Arts degree major in Conflict and Peace Studies and Sociology. I am passionate about Humanitarian Affairs, the well-being of all people regardless of their positions or backgrounds. I also enjoy working with Children, Youth and the Elderly. By being at WYA, I look forward to gaining a practical understanding of Human Dignity and Advocacy which will empower me to take my position in contributing to the well-being of humanity and use that knowledge to empower others. I also joined WYA because of their stand on Human Dignity. I like traveling and meeting new people and reading.
