It is with great delight that we invite you to join our annual World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific Summer Camp, where young leaders will learn about human dignity and be given the training and accreditation necessary to represent the World Youth Alliance locally and internationally.
This 2011, WYAAP will be conducting its 5th Annual Summer Camp. Its aim is to have WYAAP members and young leaders train and finish the Certified Training Program within a week of fun under the sun. Previous sites for our summer camps were San Jose, Camarines Sur and Boracay, Aklan. This year it will be held in Binmaley, Pangasinan on May 9-14. It would be a pleasure to have you there with us.
This summer camp will train members from different fields of study/interests, from all over Asia Pacific countries, to communicate articulately in the discourse of the dignity of the human person and develop a vocabulary with which to engage the international and local communities on issues that impact policy and culture. Through this lived experience of the dignity of the person, all of us will be able to affirm life at all levels of society. Through
various camp activities, we look forward to creating a very dynamic and long-lasting bond and friendship among the participants.
Participants will be supervised at all times. The camp will be co-ed, with separate rooms for girls and boys. Some activities lined up during the camp are:
• Interaction with other participants and members of WYA
• Discussions on the articles included in the Certified Training Program by the beach
• Group activities to enhance leadership skills
Enclosed is the application form that you will need to accomplish should you wish to participate in the camp. Deadline for submission of accomplished application form is on April 21, 2011. Registration fee is 6,000.00 Php.
